So it's been a while since this thing has been updated! If you're looking for your daily daybreak, you best befriend us on facebook. We could always use some new friends! We're still deep into the album, writing and tracking in our basement. Carnival King is done, and we heard you can even download it. We also put up a live recording of our Kitty Cat Klub show from this July. Feel free to learn the songs by heart in preparation for the album. lovedaybreak.

time again for talking snowmen and other mythic creatures to take hold! happy holidays from your fiends daybreak! thanks to all the folks for coming out to our Acadia and 400 Bar shows, we do enjoy projecting our sounds onto your ears and bones. come on out to Gasthof's in lovely NE Minneapolis on the 30th and get yo countdown on early! we'll be jiving with our old chums in Stealing Fiction. slowly and surely we are piecing together the album- we predict it may be released in the next decade- so stick close to the lion! peace!

happy halloween from daybreak!
as of late we have been mixing our sessions from Humans Win! studios here in minneapolis. lots of overdubs and lot more work to be done on the album- but it is slowly taking a wonderful shape thanks to the help from Dan Zamzow in Deepsoul Deities. songs 'witches' and 'carnival king' are beginning to reach completion! we can't wait to share!
